Hear Hear Radio

Radio station KALW (97.1) is doing a really cool pop-up radio project in partnership with Localore.  For 12 months they are going to set up recording stations in Oakland in San Francisco and everyone who has a story to tell is invited to come.  Some stations will be themed, others not.  There is also a website which has questions of the week which you are invited to upload photos and record responses to.  The aim of the project is to “put the public back into public media”.  I don’t know about you guys, but this gets me all fired up and excited!

What a good song/video for Saturday morning.  Having this pop up on shuffle made me totally in to cheerfully doing errands. AKA it is a magic song.

1) I discovered this band today.  Fenster is based in Berlin and made my Monday not so cranky and blue.

2) I have recently started a hot n heavy relationship with the word jubilee. I don’t know why it has taken so long for this romance to take root, but I am glad it has.
